Beauty Talk: Pops Of Pink And Glowing Skin

Moving the clocks forward is the unofficial start of Spring as far as I’m concerned. I know some parts of the country are still under a blanket of snow, but here in South Florida it’s already starting to warm up {fast!}.

I relish the months before the summer because the humidity isn’t full-force yet. The kids are loving the extra daylight since it’s giving them more outside playtime with their friends, and I’m feeling a lot more productive in the evening.

For the past month I’ve been using L’Occitane Light Comfort Cream and LOVE it! I received a sample in my Influenster box and have been using it at night and using it on the dryer areas of my face under my normal SPF moisturizer. It’s a light weight cream so if your prone to breakouts, yet have dry areas on your skin {my forehead always feels like it’s about to crack} this will work great.

L’Occitane’s Light Comfort Cream is great for combination skin.

I don’t leave home without some concealer {seriously I’d scare strangers!}. Based on the season/weather I switch up my concealer – as it gets warmer I need a less creamy one. I’ve been using Boiing for years and it’s a nice go between and it also works great as a primer on the lids before adding eye shadow.

My lipstick color of the moment is Revlon’s Color Burst Matte Balm in Elusive Insaissable. Its not really a lipstick it’s more of a lip crayon the texture is velvety, and while it has a matte finish it doesn’t dry lips. Some pinks can be too ‘Barbie’ like – this shade is a combination of a pink and nude tone, it adds a fresh pop of color.

For my cheeks a light dusting of Nars Blush/Bronzer Duo in Orgasm and Laguna completes the look. Beauty Talk: Pops Of Pink Look
