Local Lovin’: Dog Sprinkles Serves Up Nutrition and Flavor To The Newest Addition Of Our Family

Dog Sprinkles

We recently adopted a puppy! Her name is Zoey and she is beyond amazing, she’s a Pugalier {a King Charles Cavalier and Pug mix}. Zoey has adjusted to life in our chaotic house and has become another member of the family.

One of my favorite things is our morning walks. When the house is still quiet her and I head outside for a long walk – it’s a great way to start the day. Once we return she dashes to the kids rooms to wake them up. I’m not sure who enjoys it more the kids or her.

With a new puppy comes a great deal of responsibility, we spent a lot of time researching and planning prior to getting her. We searched for a dog for well over a year, we visited shelters and stalked the social media pages of local rescues.

Once we got her we started absorbing as much information as we can about dog training, what to feed her how much to feed her and how often. So much about the health of a dog is not only related to their genetics but also to diet and exercise.

A lot of the dog food sold lacks the nutritional value for a growing pup. Switching to a healthier brand for Zoey was difficult – there is a reason dogs LOVE the lower quality stuff it’s made with their tastebuds in mind {but not they’re long-term health}.

Luckily I was introduced to Dog Sprinkles – a superfood nutritional boost you add to your dog’s existing food. Dog Sprinkles is packed with antioxidants, omega fatty acids, proteins, , and essential vitamins necessary for your dog’s health!

We had been mixing her old food with the healthier stuff to wean her off and she paid no mind to it. Once we added Dog Sprinkles she scarfed it down. Within a few days we were able to to eliminate her old food all together.

We feed her twice a day and add Dog Sprinkles into her morning feeding. We’ve noticed an improvement with her breathe {we give her less dog breathe treats now!} and with her coat as well as as an improvement with her overall energy.

Dog Sprinkles is made locally in South Florida {but can be shipped throughout the United States} by Stephanie Stanton who is a certified Holistic Health Counselor. She created the recipe as a way to help her own dogs, Stephanie’s vet quickly noticed a difference in the dogs and now recommends Dog Sprinkles to her furry patients.

What’s also amazing about Dog Sprinkles is a portion of their proceeds are donated to Happy Dog Rescue!

I’d love to hear some of your pup stories and advice, comment below and share please!
