Local Lovin’: Family Packed Fun in West Palm Beach for July 4th Weekend




Patriotism in Paradise // July 4, 2014; 5 to 10 p.m.

Head to West Palm Beach for a weekend filled with family friendly attractions from July 4-6 2014.

The weekend kicks off with 4th on Flagler.  Catch the spectacular 16 minute fireworks display on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Enjoy live entertainment at the Meyer Amphitheater featuring The Lost Trailers and Ryan Star.

There will be a Military salute for all branches and the unfurling of the giant three-story American flag on the side of the Esplanade Grande building.

Head to the waterfront for a 9-hole Patriotic themed Putt-Putt course. Open daily through July 5th from 5 to 9 p.m. with closing day hours on July 6th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Northwest’s Taste of the South BBQ & Brew //  Saturday, July 5, 2014

Head over to Northwood Village for a taste of the South.  free admission from 1 to 4p.m.  Enjoy tastings and sips of southern-style BBQ fixings for $5, while listening to live R&B and blues.

Red, White & Brunch  // Sunday, July 6, 2014; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participating restaurants in Downtown West Palm Beach will have a special brunch menu.  After brunch take a ride on the Aqua Trolley to the Waterfront and receive discounted rates on water activities ranging from jet skis, paddboarding and so much more!
